The Messenger

Jan. 15, 2006

Dear Friends,
As we begin the New Year together, may we resolve to seek God first (Matthew 6:33) and grow in love for God and others (Mark 12:30-31) and pursue God's purpose (Matthew 28:19-20). To that end, I want to invite you to join us also on Wednesday nights for a time of prayer, praise and Bible Study at 7:45 PM. Those who cannot come on Sundays as well as those who serve on Sundays are especially invited. Let's grow and serve the Lord together!
Pastor Yim

KIDDIE CORNER VOLUNTEERS: are needed for 2006. This is a perfect opportunity for a single person or family to get to know the young people of our church. Volunteers are assigned a Sunday every two months. You don't have to set up or bring anything - just be willing to serve and clean up after the Church service. Please contact Denise Andrews or the Church Office if you are interested in this ministry.

2005 "ORDER OF THE KEEPER OF THE CHRISTMAS SECRET" Congratulations to this year's recipients, Kathy Bush and Pat DiMassi. In their own quiet way, they have truly exemplified the meaning of this award "The Secret of Living is in Giving".

UMW beginning January 15th, and continuing every third Sunday of the month, will have items available in Fellowship Hall to help us with our mission work. Please stop by our membership table during Coffee Hour to support our good works

YOUTH GROUP: will meet on Sunday, January 22nd for devotion and bowling. More details to follow. Please contact Shanna Wurth for further information.

ADVENT COIN FOLDERS: If you have not yet returned your coin folders, please either bring them to Church and put in the offering plate or drop them at the Church Office. Envelopes are available at the Welcome Center. Thank you.
