UNITED METHODIST WOMEN: will have their Executive Meeting on Monday, May 1st at 7:00pm in the UMW Room. All members of the Mission Team to attend.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN: will be holding their General Meeting on Tues. May 9th, 7:00pm in Fellowship Hall. Program: "Healing Ministries"; Speaker: Pat DiMassi. This includes wholistic healing of the body, mind and spirit. James 5:14 says "Is any one of you sick? He should call on the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord." Pat and Pastor Yim will offer prayers on an individual basis for anyone who desires prayer for healing for themselves or a loved one at the end of the program. We hope you will join us and bring a friend. All women and teens are invited. Gold Circle will be our hosts.

MOTORCYLE RUN RE-SCHEDULING: Our Second Annual Motorcycle Run scheduled last Sunday after service had been postponed due to inclement weather. It will be re-scheduled with Rodger Lee and his Lighthouse Harley Chapter of the L.I. Motorcycle Club.

YOU ARE INVITED: Church members who are interested in being At-Large members of the Administrative Council (the Church's decision-making body), which meets monthly, are invited to indicate their interest to one of the members of the Lay Leadership Committee, chaired by the Pastor.

ANNUAL CHURCH SPRING CLEANING: Sat., May 20th. We are looking for all church members to bring their pails and sponges and help clean our Church, Thrift Shop, and Church School. Here is our chance to clean out the clutter, and put a shine on our Church. The UMM will be providing a light lunch for all workers. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the beginning of May.

A JOURNEY WITH CHRIST - WALK TO EMMAUS: is a 3-day experience held at Montfort Retreat Center in Bay Shore. It is designed to strengthen and renew our faith, and to experience the love and grace of God on a deeper level. The Men's weekend is May 4-7 and the Women's weekend is May 18-21. YOUTH GROUP LOCK-IN: Saturday, 5/13 (beginning at 4:00pm) - Sunday, 5/14. The theme is "Friends".

TALENT SHOW: Our family evening/talent show event that the United Methodist Men were planning for Saturday, May 6th will be re-scheduled for some time in the future. Details to follow.
