The Messenger

May 28, 2006

Dear Friends
Seeing many people out for spring cleaning was heartwarming because it was a visual testimony to their faith and love for the Lord and His church.
Next Sunday (6/4/06) is Confirmation Sunday. The Praise & Gospel Choir and the Worship Band will be helping us to praise and worship. Please continue to pray for the Confirmation students (Scott, Evan, Dan, Shannon, Preeti) for God's blessing and that they may know Christ personally and follow Him. Please note: Communion will be postponed to the 3rd Sunday in 6/18/06.
On Christian Education Sunday (6/11/06), we will announce the winners of the Newman Scholarship as well as recognize the graduates of High School, College and Graduate Schools. So plan to join us with your family and friends to worship God and celebrate His blessings.
As we get pulled in many directions in the summer weeks & months ahead, let's not neglect the worship of God. We don't skip out on the essentials such as eating, resting or washing even when we're busy. So let's not skip out on the greatest and the most essential of our lives, the worship of God, who is the source of all life and blessing. If you're in town, join us in worship. If you're out of town, find a church to worship God. Let's continue to follow Christ together.
In Christ Our Hope,
Pastor Julia YH Yim
