DID YOU KNOW ... that Sunday, Oct. 15th is World Hunger Day? We are asking everyone to donate just one canned or boxed food item that day: cereal, fruits and vegetables, beans, pasta, tomato sauce, canned tuna or chicken, soup and stew are all good choices. (If you want to bring more than one item, great!) Marked containers will be awaiting donations in the South Transept.

THE UMW IN SUPPORT OF CHILDREN: "But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of Heaven belongs." Project Linus is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization, whose mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to critically ill, traumatized and abused infants and children through the gift of new, homemade, washable blankets and afghans. Donations of yarn are also accepted. Blankets and yarn will be collected for a donation to be made during December to Project Linus. Please contact Lisa Joniaux for details or to make a donation.
