CHURCH'S UNISON PRAYER
FOR THE NEW SERVICE
Gracious God, our Heavenly Father,
You are almighty and worthy of all our praise. Nothing is too difficult for You. You take delight in those who trust in You and choose to work in response to the prayers of Your servants. Lord, we pray for the New Service that is in the works that You will bless & use it to draw new and untapped people to our church to seek You and experience Your love in Christ. Grant that we may experience afresh renewal, joy of following Christ and growth, as we, Your church, step out boldly in faith in Your awesome power. Guide & bless the preparation, launch and growth of this new service in all areas. Raise up more workers & supporters for this task. Strengthen & bless all those who will step out in faith through service, through witness and through deeper prayer. Lord, use the music, the preaching of the Word, the ministry of the laity and all the resources we have within our grasp to draw people to Your amazing grace and the power of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Empower us with the Holy Spirit & work through us to accomplish Your will together and advance Your Kingdom purposes to proclaim Christ and His love to others. We thank You in advance for what You will do through us for Your glory and for Your church. We pray in the powerful name of Jesus our Risen Lord. Amen.
