WESLEY CHOIR will be singing the prelude this Sunday. Please be at church at 9:05am to practice in the sanctuary. We will robe at 9:20am. Thank you!

ADVENT CANDLE LIGHTING SIGN-UP: For those families who would like to participate in our Advent Candle Lighting for 9:30 AM Service, there is a sign-up sheet in the So. Transept.

MINI FAIR IN SUPPORT OF OUR TROOPS: this Sunday, November 18th at Coffee Hour the Sunday school will be having a mini-fair and bake sale. Proceeds will go to purchase phone cards for our troops to phone home during the holidays. Please help the Sunday School support our troops.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE: we will be collecting food to help support St. Kilian's food pantry. Please bring any non-perishable food donations to church and leave them in the So. Transept by Nov. 18th. Following are suggested items:

  • Canned: soup, fruit, pasta dinners, vegetables, potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce, tuna, chicken, etc.
  • rice, beans, instant potatoes
  • tomato/spaghetti sauce, pasta, macaroni & cheese
  • boxed, bag stuffing & cold cereal
  • coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice
  • cookies, crackers & coupons for free turkeys

HELP CA WILDFIRE VICTIMS: UMCOR is providing assistance to those who have been left the most vulnerable by the recent fires in California, such as low-wage workers who have lost both their homes and their workplaces. To help, write a check to Farmingdale UMC and put "Advance #901670, Domestic Disaster Response, California Wildfires" on the memo line.

THE ORDER OF THE KEEPER OF THE CHRISTMAS SECRET: If you would like to nominate someone for the Order of the Keeper of the Christmas Secret, pick up a nomination form on Sunday morning. Nominees should in there own quiet way do their best to keep the Christmas Secret (The Secret of Living is Giving).

FALL CHORAL CONCERT: Sat. Nov. 17th, 3:00pm. Free concert featuring "The Hardscrabble Balladeers" at the Hardscrabble Apartments, 404 Main St., Farmingdale in the Social Hall. Refreshments will be served.

HELP WANTED: Thrift Shop Co-Coordinator position available. Please contact the Church Office. This is a 10 hour per week position.
