- Do not pray for easy lives, Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your task. Phillips Brooks (1835-1893)

- He who does not pray when the sun shines will not know how to pray when the clouds roll in.
- Although posture is not important, I find that I am able to express my dependence better on my knees, a sign of our helplessness apart from the divine enablement. Erwin W. Lutzer (1941- )
- God is perfect love and perfect wisdom. We do not pray in order to change his will, but to bring our wills into harmony with his. Sir William Temple (1628-1699)

- VIDEO STUDY "So That the World May Know" - a series of Faith Lessons focused on the death and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah.

*Topic for Sun. Feb. 24th: Gates of Hell: Jesus brought His disciples to the pagan Decpolis to teach them a profound lesson. Following Him means facing the greatest evils in our world. It means we must use His strength of loving self sacrifice to meet the needs of others.
- BOOK STUDY on Forgiveness "How Can I Forgive?" This study will look at forgiveness: what the Bible has to say on the subject, what stops us from forgiving others and how we can work to offer forgiveness, both as individuals and as a world.
