MISSION MINUTE: This June at the New York Annual Conference, the special Mission focus will be on the Heifer International which is a world-wide organization that helps needy people obtain a sustainable source of food and income. Our Annual Conferenceís goal is to purchase 10 Arks. An Ark, which costs $5,000, consists of 15 pairs of animals (like cows, sheep, camels, oxen, water buffalo, etc.) These animals will be given to people in United Methodist Mission areas who will utilize the animals for milk or wool and the animalís offspring will be given to other families in need. Offerings will be brought forward by the children of the Conference churches at the 2008 Annual Conference in June. Please consider seriously joining &supporting this Conference-wide mission effort through your giving.
