The Messenger

May 11, 2008

Dear Friends,
As we remember how the Holy Spirit came down on the day of Pentecost with a rushing wind and fire, symbolic of power and fervor, we need to SEEK the outpouring of the Spirit on us as we proclaim Christ and His message of forgiveness and new life. On this day, some wear the color 'Red' to remember the fire & fervor of the Holy Spirit who makes Christ real to us and helps us glorify Christ.

COME HOLY SPIRIT! Come & Fill Us! This Sunday (5/11) we will celebrate and honor mothers, remembering their sacrificial love, guidance and prayers. Please join us as we worship the Lord and give thanks for our mothers!
