The Messenger

June 21 - June 28, 2009

Dear Friends,
Imagine if people stop taking showers during the summer just because it's summer. That's silly, I know. Yet some people stop coming to church during the summer. Spiritual disciplines of worship, prayer, study of God's Word, service, etc keep us alive and in tune to God's vision & mission for us. Let's pray for each other if we're apart and worship and serve the Lord together when we're here. May the Lord refresh and revive our spirits to a closer and deeper walk with Christ throughout the summer and into the fall!
With hope and joy in Christ, Pastor Yim

P.S. At the 210th Session of the NY Annual Conference, I have been reappointed to serve the Lord with you.

CONGRATULATIONS to Dana Andrews & Jennings Gyedu, recipients of the 2009 Skip Newman Scholarship.

UPDATE ON ALTAR FLOWERS: Beautifully adorned silk floral arrangements will replace the usual floral arrangements from the florist on a weekly basis, in honor or memory of your loved one or a special occasion.
