Thank you ... to all the Christmas Pageant Participants. It was terrific. You all did a wonderful job..the readers, the actors and the singers and lets not foget the ushers, the teachers who helped the children learn the music, Jenn Lee for being a great director, and to Christine Boutin for accompaniment.

Congratulations to Kasey Wurth ... Kasey was honored by being inducted into the The Order of the Keeper of Christmas Secret. This is the first time a youth has been recognized with this honor. In order to be part of this group, the person should, in their own quiet way, do their best to keep the Christmas Secret which is The Secret Of Living Is In Giving. When you see Kasey give her your congratulations.

UNICEF UPDATE
We have sent $410.50 to UNICEF. This money has been designated for the Tsunami Relief Fund. If you listen to the news you will hear how UNICEF has been helping the victims. Thanks to your and others fund raising, UNICEF can help those victims receive the help they need. If you would like more information on what UNICEF is doing for the Tsunami Victims, please visit the CYM Table.

Accolades to our Youth Band ... who opened for Frank Rendo at the very first JC Café on Saturday, January 8th. Keep your eyes and ears open to find out when and where their next performance will be.

A Look Around Our Classrooms
The 4th and 5th Grade class is lead by Debbie Cala and Neha Misra. Their large and lively class has been exploring the Bible. They have been learning about the Bible's many books and sections. Debbie stated "This year should be a revelation into God's word".

Anyone interested in working with our children should see Shanna Wurth at the CYM Table during coffee hour. Specifically we are looking for volunteers in the following areas:

  • Lead and Assist in Evening Lenten Programs
  • Extra hands for our Children's Worship Activity ... for March we need 3 volunteers to help make pretzels
  • Substitute teachers.
  • Vacation Bible School ... Director, Teachers and Assistant Teachers
Some quotes of inspiration
