Our Lenten programming for 2005 will be held on the Sunday evenings of Lent; February 13, February 20, February 27, March 6, March 13 and March 20. Each evening we will gather at 5 PM for supper. We will begin on Sunday, February 13, with a covered dish supper so — bring a dish to share — beverages and dessert will be provided.

If you cannot be present for the meal you are welcome to attend the programs which begin at 6 PM every Sunday. It's not necessary to be present at all of the sessions in order to benefit but, obviously, it helps. Two adult study programs will be offered:

"Wrestling with Angels" This series deals with some of the seemingly unanswerable questions in the life of faith. It utilizes the gifts of a variety of religious thinkers and communicators. The following topics and presenters are featured:

  5. DOUBT: How can I question and still believe? with Madeleine L'Engle
  6. LOVE: Why is loving so hard? with Keith Miller

"Light the Fire In My Heart, O God," a Lenten program that is designed to help us draw us nearer to God, through the person of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
