To mark the second anniversary of the war with Iraq, Farmingdale United Methodist Church will hold a Candlelight Prayer Vigil from 7 to 7:30 PM on Saturday evening, March 19. The purpose of the vigil is to honor the lives lost in the war, to hold up in prayer those who are in harm's way and their families, and to pray for peace with justice. The church will be open for quiet prayer beginning at 2 PM up until the beginning of the Candlelight Prayer Vigil. Everyone is welcome.
