BIBLE STUDY
Throughout the year we have several opportunities to join in study of the Bible on various subjects. Regular studies are held on Wednesday mornings and evenings as well as Saturday mornings. Special studies happen during the Lenten season. All of our studies are led by our staff, lay leaders, or specialized volunteers.
Wednesday Mornings: 10:30 – 12:00 noon. Pastor leads a study on different books of the Bible. Hymns, prayer, discussion and sharing are part of this weekly gathering.
Saturday Mornings: 8:00 AM. Robert Carle, Professor of Theology, leads a men’s Bible study and prayer.
Adult Sunday School: 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM after Sunday worship. Talking About Faith. This study will focus on the weekly lectionary scripture texts from which Pastor writes his sermons. All those interested in biblical conversation and deep theology are invited to attend. You don’t need to be a member of the congregation to be part of this exciting program.
Lenten program: The Lenten program is offered during the 6 Sundays of Lent. It starts at 5:00 PM with a potluck dinner followed by the Lenten study. This study will include singing, video presentation, reading of the Bible and follow with discussion.
